The security pigment of this product is composed of small crystals and can be added to materials where security needs to be ensured (e.g., plastics, synthetic and natural rubber, ceramics, glass, fabric, fillers, fixatives, paper, inks, resins, chemicals). Additionally, the security pigment does not react with the host material. The security pigment used in Tailor-Safe has a solid spectrum similar to a fingerprint and can be analyzed with a spectrometer. The characteristic of this security material is that the spectrum excited by individual wavelengths is different, allowing it to possess a unique and unmistakable property. This security pigment was developed for Tailor-Safe and has a crystal structure similar to minerals. It is chemically inert and physically very stable, remaining stable at temperatures up to 1700 degrees. Furthermore, it is very environmentally friendly and non-toxic, making it suitable for use in water, food, and pharmaceuticals.
